I opened my wardrobe the other day and forgot that i even owned my jacket. I bought in last Christmas from Topshop and pretty sure i wore it with everything i owned. From jeans to leggings, dresses to skirts. It was and still is the most versatile garments any women could own.
Thank you Lord, the jackets are back!! but not in just one style but in every style you can imagine. The spring/summer 2010 shows last year didn't show a particular style throughout but each designer seemed to choose a different jacket style ( a game of rock, paper, scissors may have taken place?!)
Ralph Lauren is currently selling the classic blazer. Prada has gone for the bolero style jacket and Hussain Chalayan has gone for the beautiful , glamourous yet cool silky jackets.
So girls (and guys) its time to whip out those jackets this summer and wear them with shorts and tshirts on a chilly evening and always remember to wear them with confidence! Thank you fashion god for letting styles repeat themselves!
