first fashion show ever!!

Paris can only be described in one word... PHENOMENAL. But who doesn't know that? Well take myself for instance. I had never stepped foot into the City of love and fashion so i had know chance to comment on what my own thoughts of the city were. Thankfully i agree with the rest of the tourists!!

What made such a visit even better was the fact that Paris Fashion Week was taking place. I managed to fight for tickets 2 days before i arrived in Paris and attended the one and only RM by Roland Mouret Fashion Show.

Celebrities such as Victoria Beckham have worn his bright and Vibrant designs and this A/W 2010 collection did not disappoint. Held in the 'Gymnasium Jupe' down a back street in the City and the anticipation was buzzing through the air like a bee.
The Editors American Vogue attended. Anna Wintour looking classically stylish as always in her trademark sunglasses sat front row. Alexandra Shulman and actress Zhang Ziyi were also sat front row in the large room.
Floating like huge balloons ( or maybe grapes?!) were the lights all clumped together in the center of the ceiling. As the music started, one by one the balloon/grapes lit up and set the ambiance for the show.
Plum, Fuschia, Black, blue and silver were the signature colour's during the show. From wollen skirt suits to sculpted dresses. Each outfit was designed to inspire and amaze. There was a lot of use of wool and knit was used throughout his designs.
One of the major appearances was off the hood. Even as models left the show to dash to the next they were all showing off these gorgeous floaty hoods that looked a crossed between a snood and  piece of satin drapped round their heads.

The show was a magnificant success and is one im going to remember as my first designer fashion show!!!!
